How the scale works. Pick width, height or depth and type the size you want for it. The whole model is scaled by the same amount in every direction, so the other two sizes follow and the parts still fold together. Print at 100% / Actual size, never “Fit to page”. Every sheet has a 50 mm bar at the top, so the size can be checked with a ruler before gluing anything.
  1. Every join has a number, like the flaps of a cardboard model. The number in a yellow glue strip matches the same number printed just inside the cut edge of the sheet that goes on top of it.
  2. Trim the top and left edges of each sheet at the red cut marks (sheets in the top row and the left column keep those edges).
  3. Lay each sheet over the glue strip with the same number so the trimmed edge sits on the dashed line and every crosshair joins into one unbroken cross, then glue.
  4. Glue the joined template onto cardboard, then cut and fold as usual.

Blank space around the template is always trimmed off before tiling, with a 2 mm safety border. Trimming never changes the scale; it only saves paper.

Slots and tabs sized for thin card grow too. If the large model uses thicker cardboard, check slot widths before cutting.
